About & background

The profile of Ms Emmanuelle Emerich-Swann

With more than ten years of advisory practice, I support my clients with a legal, operational and entrepreneurial understanding of the challenges facing the financial sector.

My career has been shaped at the crossroads of three complementary worlds. It began with a legal traineeship at a Geneva law firm, where I gained the rigour and fundamentals of the practice of law. I then spent several years within a bank, notably as Head of Compliance, developing an in-depth, hands-on understanding of the sector's regulatory constraints and compliance requirements. Finally, I practised as in-house counsel for a start-up — a demanding environment that sharpened my sense of agility, strategy and directly applicable solutions.

This path — from the Bar to banking, then to business — allows me to understand your challenges from the inside, to speak the language of both legal teams and decision-makers, and to anticipate with precision the requirements of supervisory authorities, in particular FINMA.
